1. Service Description

Calendar of Sports is a free personalized sports calendar platform. It allows you to follow your favorite sports, leagues, and teams, and subscribe to a personalized .ics calendar feed that works with Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and other calendar applications. You may optionally connect Google Calendar for direct event syncing.

2. Account Requirements

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• Your password must be at least 8 characters long.
• Email verification is required before your account is activated. Unverified accounts are automatically deleted after 7 days.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

3. Monthly Newsletter

Calendar of Sports is provided free of charge. In exchange, all registered users receive a monthly newsletter featuring upcoming sports highlights. This newsletter is a core part of the service, not optional marketing email.

Each monthly newsletter contains a keep-alive link. By clicking this link (or by logging in to your account), you confirm that your account remains active. You are not required to click the link — it exists to identify accounts that are no longer in use.

4. Account Inactivity

If you do not click the keep-alive link in the monthly newsletter and do not log in for 3 consecutive months, your account will be flagged as inactive. While inactive:

• You will no longer receive the monthly newsletter.
• Your calendar feeds will return empty results (no events will appear).
• Your data and subscriptions are retained.

You can reactivate your account at any time by logging in. Activity will resume normally following reactivation.

5. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Deletion is permanent and takes effect immediately:

• All account data is permanently and irrecoverably deleted.
• Your calendar feed URLs will immediately stop working. Any calendar application subscribed to your feed will no longer receive events.
• If you connected Google Calendar, the connection is removed. Events already synced to Google Calendar will remain in your Google Calendar but will not receive further updates.
• Your sport, league, and team subscriptions will be deleted.

6. Data Accuracy

Sports schedule data is sourced from third-party APIs and providers. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of event information including start times, venues, broadcast details, or event status. Always verify important event details through official sources.

7. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Automatically scrape or bulk-download data from the service.
• Share your calendar feed token or URL publicly in a way that allows mass access.
• Resell, redistribute, or commercialize calendar data obtained from this service.
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

8. Limitation of Liability

Calendar of Sports is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees regarding uptime, data accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, the “last updated” date at the top of this page will change. Your continued use of the service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If changes are significant, we may notify you via the monthly newsletter.
